Symphony 'up do'
These pictures were taken while waiting to go and see the symphony today! Mrs. Pays class had a fiedtrip today, so everyone had to dress in there Sunday best. We did this hair do loosly based on how we saw Emma hair last night at the ward Halloween party...Thanks for the idea Emma!
We started with two small puggies at the front of her hair, added elastics then braided.
Joelys held the braids while I prepared two more small piggies.
We crossed the braids to the opposit piggie and added another elastic.
We did this all one more time.
Then we ended by doing our final braids and brining them to the opposit side to a messy bun with the remaining hair for that side.
Add two cute and rather large hot pink flowers a we were done!

Elastic lovin' hair
On this hair style we took a section of her hair in the front (it was dramatically parted on the side) and added a little yellow elastic, then we added more elastics about every inch and a half down the ramaining piece of hair. After that we made a large ponytail with all the remaining hair added the 'elastic' strip of hair, and secured with our halloween ponytail (yup we wore it again today). We followed the same pattern of adding elastics down the remaining hair of the large ponytail. But try to keep the hair close to the neck when adding the elastics to avoid looking like pippy longstocking with her her going staright out. The pontail will however stick out away from the head a bit, I just wanted to tame it the best I could!

Aubreys Princess hair
Aubrey slept over again (her new little sister was born yesterday) So today we made her look like a princess. We did two little piggies at the front of her head, then combined those into two other little piggies (ie. puffy braids). We did the very same thing at the base of her neck. Starting with two little piggies and combined them with two other piggies. (when piggies are at the base of the neck and move up they are called climbers) we then took the four little piggies and combined them with the remaining hair at the crown of her head and added an elastic....now the part that really made her a princess is the bow we made her today, we made a streamer bow (I explained how to make those on an earlier post). we did a braid with the ponytail, wraped it around to make a bun and secured it with her new princess bow, and of course all princess' need glitter gel hairspray to top it all off!
Easy Halloween do
This is the easy stanby hair do. Two larger piggies in the front pulled back to a large ponytail with all the hair. The important thing today was that we got this really cute halloween hair tie yesterday at the Childrens Place, it has little candy corns on it....so cute. Needless to say we couldn't pass it up, so today we just had to do something where you would see the new hair tie!

Ring around the ponies
Today we added little ponies all the way around her head, I think it's easiest to do four in the front then two in the very back. Finally I add a little pony on each side by her ear to connect them all together. We then took the remaining hair at the crown of her head, made a large ponytail and twisted the hair fron each little pony to add to the large pony. We secured that with an elastic then made a bun and put our streamer bow in. Streamer bows are SO easy to make, we made this to match this shirt, just find ribbion to match which ever outfit you have (we made some of our ribbon into corker ribbon). Next cut the ribbon to desired length, each of ours is 5-6 inches, Finally you tie the ribbon onto a ponytail holder, only going around about half way. These are the eaiest bows to make and look really cute with buns! PS. She also has on the necklace to match this shirt. :)

Sunday messy buns
What a cutie! Joely had her hair in four little ponies in the front of her hair with matching elastics, then pulled into two messy buns. This was so quick and easy, which was good because I had meetings at the church today and Joel is out of town, so I have to quickly get the kids all ready for church. She wanted to wear her two big blue flowers that we made, I know the don't perfectly match, but she never really gets a chance to wear them. She also wanted me to take a picture of the necklace she was wearing because it was a pecfect match to her dress. I know it's silly but we actually make a lot of bows and jewlery to match each school outfit that she has...hey we are having fun doing it so that makes it not so odd....right?
Aubreys hair
Yeah Aubrey spent the night on Friday night. Joely and I were so excited to do her hair and add it to the bog, in fact when she came on Friday I quickly grabbed some ribbon and my glue gun so I could make her a matching bow for her outfit that day. We new we could get two cute hair do's in, but Aubrey had other plans! Once I finished her 'Friday' bows she refused to let me even touch her hair...what a bummer. But alas, there was still Saturaday, unfortunatly I never got a great picture of her hair. Here's what we did. Started with two little piggies on top of her head, I then braided the hair from those piggies and had Aubrey hold the braids. Then I made two low piggies in the back of her hair, added the braids and added an elastic to hold it in place. Then I took each of those piggies and braided them, then looped them back up added another elasctic and two cute pink corker bows. Oh yeah and as for the pictures I am always taking vertical pictures, but unfortuantly the blog wont let me rotate them!
Twisted smocking
This is a cute smocking hair do we did. We sectioned the front of the hair into four sections and added matching rubber bands, then we twisted the hair and brought it down to two other little ponies. We kept one of the twisted sections from the left and added a twisted section from the right for the left side mini pony. We then did the exact oppsite for the little pony on the right. We then took both those mini ponies and added it to a big messy bun with all the rest of her hair. We were in Cedar all day and playing around, and by the end of the day it still looked great!

Red Shirt Friday hairstyle
Here is our easy hairdo for Red Shirt day. We made this cute little streamer bow to match her shirt (we have other bows we have also made for red shirt day too). Joely is really excited to have her own blog, I think it will be something fun for us to do together. But I should warn you if you want a spectaclular new hairdo for your little girl, I'm not the mom for it! :) We just love to make hairbows together and try to find new things to do with her THIN hair.
